Now that summer is officially is over, I’m ready for all things fall! Unfortunately, NYC has another few weeks of hot weather ahead before I can really start to get into the fall spirit (this week is going to be in the 90s! Ugh). The best way to start transitioning your wardrobe into fall is by layering and mixing up your fabrics.
These joggers have been my go-to pants lately. They are so comfy, and the olive green is perfect for the season. However, they’re made of linen! This makes them perfect for transitional dressing, the lightweight fabric is great for warmer temps but the color and style make them appropriate for September. This striped sweater is just awesome, I’m obsessed with all of the colors (obviously), and it’s a great early fall weight. It’s perfect to wear alone or over a tank now, and then when the temps cool down layer it over a button up for a preppy chic look. And we can talk about my bag?! The color is the perfect shade of chestnut brown for fall, and the size is just right for everyday.
I hope everyone had a great Labor Day Weekend! Cheers to a short week!
