Cozy Neutrals

Happy Monday! Were did the weekend go?! I had the (very last minute) pleasure of attending the Simply Stylist New York conference on Saturday with my friend Caila (whose blog just launched today!! Be sure to check it out!!), and I had so much fun! More on that later though. Today’ I’m sharing my first look from my trip to the Hamptons last month. I’ve basically been wearing a version of this outfit on repeat all season, keep reading to find out why!

I know I’ve said it before, but I’m saying it again. Cozy neutrals have become my go-to pieces this season. From tan to cream to heather grey, I want alllll of the soft and easy hues. When I first saw this scarf in the store, I knew it was going to be a staple of mine, and the $48 price tag can’t be beat. I had the hardest time deciding between the ivory and camel, but ended up going with the ivory (however, I later bought the camel because it’s THAT GOOD). This bag was also love at first sight for me. I have to be honest, I really didn’t see myself adopting the backpack trend. I thought it was something that looked cute on others, but would never work for me. I made a complete 180 when I saw this bag, however. What initially drew me in was the gorgeous grey color and soft leather. I was hesitant to try it on once I realized it was a backpack, but when I looked in the mirror I was sold. I’ve since carried a backpack (also loving this one) almost every day since I bought it. It’s amazing to be so hands free!!

What do you guys think of the backpack trend? Have you given it a try? I hope everyone’s week is off to a great start! I’m currently headed on a little adventure to the Bahamas with Royal Caribbean, be sure to follow me on Snapchat (astylishsideprj) for all of the behind the scenes fun!

Love how you have styled your cozy neutrals! Now I’m tempted to try it even though I am a bold-colors kind of girl. You look fab and have fun on your cruise!
