Alright Monday, let’s do this! After an unplanned detox from social media this weekend, I feel relaxed and ready to take on the new week. I barely checked in on Instagram, and I didn’t catch up on Snapchats or blog work at all. At first I felt guilty for taking a mini break, but by the end of the weekend I felt damn good about the decision. Instead, I hid from the frigid temps outside and binge watched Gilmore Girls allll weekend – how have I never watched this show before?! So. Good. Today I’m excited to share my first look from Denver, as well as fill you in on the exciting new LikeToKnow.it App!!
Real talk – when we shot this look it was about 25 degrees outside. When I was packing for Denver, the temperatures were in the 70s! As soon as I arrived, Denver got hit with a cold front that lasted my entire stay. So it’s safe to say that many of my outfits were not very weather appropriate, as I packed for spring and was greeted with winter. I had wanted to wear this dress to happy hour one night, but due to the drop in temps it only got brought out for my photo shoot. However, once spring finally hits NYC, I know it will be one of my favorites. I love the tassel detailing on the sleeves, and the subtle white embroidery throughout the dress is very on trend this season. I paired it here with neutral accessories for a clean look, but this dress is literally a blank canvas – you can do so much with it!
Before I sign off for the day, I wanted to take a minute to chat about about the new LikeToKnow.it App! It just launched this morning and I couldn’t be more excited about it (if you’re unfamiliar with Like To Know It, check out my full page explaining it here). Once you download the app from the App Store, you will now be able to shop my content on Instagram, Instagram stories, Snapchat, and Pinterest! You can take a screenshot of any photo across my social media channels that you want outfit deets on, and seconds later it will be shoppable within the app. If you don’t want to fill your camera roll with tons of screenshots (I hear ya on that), you can still continue to ‘like’ Instagram photos as usual, and instead of waiting for an email to come through, you can instantly shop your likes in the app. Pretty cool huh? I’m SO interested to hear your thoughts on it – does it make my content easier for you to find and shop? I would love to know your feedback!
