Exploring Notting Hill

Lifestyle blogger Mollie Sheperdson explores Notting Hill in London

Hey guys, happy Tuesday! I apologize for being a bad blogger this week… Between having my mom in town the past few days and spending Easter with Connor’s family in NJ, I put the blog on the back burner to enjoy time with loved ones. That means my posts are off their normal schedule – You know you can come here M, W, and F to see new content, but this week will be a bit different. On Sunday I posted my highly requested Paris travel guide, today I’m posting my last look from London, and there will be one more new post on Friday as well. Next week is back to business as usual! Now that we’ve covered the scheduling update, let’s get into this look!

I’m actually depressed that this is my last post from my trip to London (see my other posts here and here). I think this definitely means that I need another vacation soon! I have a few places in mind for next month, so stay tuned 😉 I’m a pretty big planner when I travel, so as soon as I found out I’d be heading to London, I immediately put Notting Hill on my must see list. I mean, all those colorful doors are basically #instafamous at this point. Victoria (my photographer and one of the coolest people I’ve met!) knew all the prettiest homes to take me to. From lavender, to baby blue, to pink – I was in color heaven! This grey leather moto jacket was the perfect piece to wear against all these pretty colors. I don’t consider myself a leather jacket kind of girl – they just seem too “cool” for me and aren’t usually my style. I couldn’t believe how much I loved this one. It ended up being my go-to jacket on my trip! It’s on the pricey side since it’s real leather, but you can rent it here for a fraction of the cost.

Do you guys have any travel plans coming up? I’d love to hear about! I need trip suggestions for next month – I’m all ears!

It’s such a feminine leather jacket – I really love it. I’m headed to Virginia Beach and Charlottesville in less than two weeks. If you’re looking for someplace close enough to drive, you’d love Charlottesville, VA. They have a gorgeous winery Pippin Hill Farms that makes you feel like you’ve been transported to Napa Valley. 🙂
